It is great to have that natural flawless glow without looking and feeling like you have a thick cake layer of makeup on your face is an amazing feeling.
Feeling fresh with a flawless glow and application of SPF for facial protection is the way to go.

Skin Care and Cleanser.
First a good face wash – I like Neutrogena’s products because my dermatologist does recommend them for a cleanser, moisturizer and it helps with acne.
You may need to experiment with different cleansers before you find the best option for you.

Good Moisturizer

Moisturizer is so important for your skin – not only keeping it smooth and flawless moist healthy skin allows the application of makeup to have the “flawless” and healthy glow to your face.  My favorite moisturizers are below.  You can use a generic moisturizer or high end as long as your face feels great go with it.

A gel-cream moisturizer is usually good for all skin types because it provides instant hydration in a lightweight formula.

If you have combination oily/dry skin using a moisturizer that hydrates but does not feel too thick weighing down your skin throughout the day I find great moisturizers at the local drugstore.  Brands such as Neutrogena, Cetaphil, and Burt’s Bees are excellent.

Foundation
After moisturizing I apply a thin layer of the IT CC Cream. I love this product because it has a SPF in it and I like protection from the sun.
I will list a few other of my favorites below. Every now and then I like to change up foundation brands when I feel my skin is changing due to the weather.

Concealer

Use concealer under your eyes for the “more rested” appearance.  This will brighten the under-eye area making you look fresher.  Select a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your complexion.

Setting Powder
I love a good setting powder. My favorites are loose powders applied with a large brush. I feel that this seals in the foundation and gives me the flawless all day long application that I need.
Apply using a powder brush the Finishing Powder. I like the tarte brushes and the Translucent Loose Powder. It seems to provide a more natural finish after applying foundation that lasts all day.
I will list a few of my favorites below – I think that you will like.

Lipstick

I LOVE lipstick!  My favorites are below.  What I recommend is outlining the lip area with a darker color lipstick then fill in the remainder with a lighter color.  This adds definition and gives a more natural appearance and even a larger lip look.  Again, do this lightly for the natural appearance.

Blush

Apply a splash of natural blush for your cheeks if needed.  Just a little with a large brush for the natural look.  My favorite is using a large blush brush blending lightly.

Eyebrows

Next touch up your eyebrows if you need it.  I have very light eyebrows so – this is a must for me.  There are many products that are good for eyebrows.  Here are my favorites.

Eyeliner

Apply a thin natural application of eyeliner right above the eyelash.  The end of the eye next to the temple I swipe gradually up with the eyeliner smudge end lightly.  This gives the natural eye end appearance.

Mascara
Last apply Mascara. I like to use a black waterproof mascara just because I feel more comfortable with it staying all day without smearing. This completes the “natural eye” look.

Don’t forget your favorite Perfume!  There you have it, a simple Flawless Classic Makeup Routine.

I hope that my posts and ideas help to inspire you.  Let me know what you think or other products that I should add.

Enjoy!

Again, these are my favorite “go to” items.  I tend to switch products throughout the year depending on my skin type.  Play around, mix foundation, etc.  Makeup is art Have Fun!
